The Caddo River Art Guild was founded by five local artists who painted together for many years and saw a need to promote art and artists in south central Arkansas.

With that goal in mind, these artists organized a tour of artists' studios in Arkadelphia and surrounding areas in 2007. The Round About Artists Studio Tour proved a huge success for this newly formed guild. Over 670 tourists attended this year's three-day tour through beautiful wooded hills and valleys to view the studios and watch the artists demonstrate their talents. Plans are already going forward for the next studio tour Oct. 15, 16 and 17th of 2010.

This dynamic and gifted group plans many more exciting projects for 2010. Membership is open to anyone interested in producing or learning about all media of art and promoting local artists. To that end, The Caddo River Art Guild hopes to provide classes and workshop demonstrations throughout the year. Please watch our Calendar of Events for further workshops, classes, or shows.
