Where do you think artists produce their art, a fancy uptown studio or a back room? I have an interesting location for my gallery – a milking barn from the early 1950’s. The sign out front now shows The Dairy Barn House and Odie’s Art.
My art is mainly oil landscapes and I have recently discovered paint pour, a fun and colorful painting technique.
I have have showing in various galleries and have won awards for my paintings including Best of Show at the Clark County Fair.
Two sayings I use are: “It does not matter how I feel about my paintings, it is how you feel when you look at my art”, and “All paintings are not masterpieces, they are art to be enjoyed.”
I have been on the Round About Artist Studio Tour for several years. I love showing my work and I price the pieces so everyone can experience an original piece of art. I hope to see everyone this year. I have new art that is different.
